The safety cover is molded in lightweight, durable yellow plastic. The cover has a peripheral flange to overhang and enclose the cutting edge of the rotating disc slicer. A central handle is provided for applying and removing the cover to the disc slicer. Magnets recessed in the cover keep the cover in place.
